The Captain

I saw this on Pinterest a long time ago and fell in love with it. We finally redid my son's bedroom and installed it on the ceiling. It was a bit of challenge to install, but turned out amazing! We used a compass to find North and actually have the decal aiming the correct direction. One challenge was making sure we put the letters on in the correct direction, facing in. Unfortunately, (learn from our mistake!) we got confused and applied a couple on facing out - the opposite way, but Black Dog Decals sent us extra letters for no charge so we could redo it and make our project truly perfect! Talk about going above and beyond! What a wonderful experience.

This decal is amazing! I love the way it turned out. I purchased the silver 39" compass for my 5.5" light base. I applied this myself which wasn't too bad but 2 people would probably be best. My ceiling is painted with Behr Marquee semi gloss and seems to be sticking well so far. The customer service I received was fantastic!! I will definitely be buying from this shop again!

Fast shipping! I have not installed this yet, but the quality seems great. The application tool is very nice. I will be using this on my houseboat and am super excited about the results. I’m waiting for paint to cure as recommended, but I know this is going to look awesome! Thanks, Kevin!!!
